Step One Service™
Acute Withdrawal Management will be provided to individuals who are in impending or early stages of acute withdrawal at the time of admission. The goal is to medically assist the individual through the withdrawal process and help navigate the transition to an appropriate level of community based addiction treatment that can address the underlying causes of their substance use disorder.
Individuals seeking treatment the StepOne Service TM must be committed to remaining in the hospital until medically stable, and be motivated to continue the treatment process by transitioning to a community based addiction treatment service once discharged.
The Process
Our inpatient stay includes:
- Pre-Screening
- Assessment
- Admission
- Medical Stabilization
- Appropriate Discharge Planning
Treatment
Patients who are admitted and under the influence of chemical substances, and are considered medically unstable, will be closely observed and stabilized.
Once the patient has been stabilized, they are discharged from the hospital with a referral to a community based provider to begin treatment of the underlying disease of drug/alcohol addiction
